The Low Place (5.30.11)

On the northern tip of Man-O-War is a beach called The Low Place, or The Narrows, where only a strip of land separates the Sea of Abaco with the Atlantic Ocean.  On the Abaco side, we found starfish (big and small), sea biscuits, sand dollars, and a sea duck (defined as a seabird of some sorts that swam like a duck). After exploring the outer banks, the little guy followed Mandy around and dove for fish as if to impress her.  As soon as he realized that Andy was her man, though, he was gone.  Too bad, because there really was no competition. After all, he really could swim and catch fish much faster than her husband!  Oh well.

No starfish were harmed in the making of this picture.  (They are, in fact, under water!)
